Taste is social here, so the rules protect both expression and trust.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Overlappd. By creating an account, you confirm that age requirement and that the information you provide is accurate enough to support a real account.

You are responsible for protecting your sign-in credentials and for the activity that happens through your account unless you promptly report unauthorized use.

You keep ownership of the reviews, lists, profile text, and other content you create, but you give Overlappd permission to host, display, and organize that content so the service can function.

Do not use the service to spam, impersonate, scrape, mass-automate, evade moderation, or interfere with the discovery and recommendation systems. Overlappd may limit or remove content that harms the community or undermines trust.

We may investigate reports, suspicious activity, policy violations, fraud signals, or abusive automation. Depending on severity, we may warn, limit, restrict, verify, suspend, or remove accounts or content.

Safety decisions can affect discovery eligibility, messaging access, follows, posting, reviews, lists, and other social actions when needed to protect users and the integrity of the platform.

Recommendation, discovery, and social ranking features are part of the product experience and may use your curation activity, follows, overlap signals, and trust state to decide what to show.

Security communications may be sent when necessary to protect your account. Optional weekly recommendation emails and social roundups are controlled separately through your notification preferences.

Some links on Overlappd to external stores and streaming services are affiliate links. Overlappd may earn a small commission when you use them, at no additional cost to you. Affiliate links never influence what Overlappd recommends.

You can opt out of affiliate tracking at any time in Settings. Full details are available in our affiliate disclosure page.

You can export and delete your account from Settings. Some records related to safety, fraud prevention, or legal obligations may need to be retained for a limited period even after account deletion.

We may also suspend or close accounts that break these terms, create unacceptable risk, or operate as bots or coordinated abuse.

These terms are version 2026-04-08. If the terms change materially, Overlappd may update the version, the public legal page, and any related in-app notice or acceptance record.
